Are you always looking for the perfect review strategy? The trashketball math review games have always been one of my favorite games, because it’s so simple! Get your students UP & MOVING while they review content standards. It can be done in large or small groups, or even individually. The trashketball math review game can be played with so many variations, but really all you need is a few simple things. A trash can, ball, and some task cards.

- When your student or the group gets the question correct then they get to shoot the ball.
- If the basket is missed, then the next team gets to shoot. Making the basket allows them to get a chance to answer the question for more points. If they miss then the next person or group goes next.
- The person or group with the most points WINS!!
FREE THROW-1 POINT
JUMP SHOT- 2 POINTS
3 POINTER- 3 POINTS
Taking score can be as easy as assigning someone to write it on the smart board or dry erase board. Also, having students write their answer on the given task card grid is also an option.
